Kayak at night along the coast of Cheung Chau to see its wild rocky terrains against the big city backdrop, with the skyline of Hong Kong Island in view just across the sea.
You are probably no stranger to Cheung Chau, the first inhabited outlying island of Hong Kong. Only this time, you get to go outdoors at night, hop on a sea kayak and paddle away!
After a short guided walk introducing the history of Cheung Chau, you will be guided by our professional instructors through a safety briefing and some simple kayaking skills. Even if you are a beginner, you will be able to paddle along the coastline of Cheung Chau with the set of professional, high-quality gear that you will be provided with.
Paddle out to see the Hong Kong skyline from the sea while the sunlight fades. You will be just in time to see the changing colour of the sky at dusk. Don’t forget to watch closely for the magic beneath your kayak, you might see the twinkle of bioluminesence light up the sea! For those who are more experienced, you may even paddle round-the-island if weather permits!
After the kayaking session, you can join also us for night snacks from some local street stalls. The perfect way to end the day!
